Thame

In 1975 "Thame" appeared at the Model Railway Club exhibition in London. Built by Leslie Bevis-Smith and a team from the SSMRS and MRC, the layout portrayed an intermediate station on the GWR Oxford-Princes Risborough line, and was featured in the December 1978 and January 1979 issues of "Model Railways". The photo below looks across the cattle dock towards the main train shed at Thame.

Bill Sweet's GWR 0-4-4T is seen leaving Thame towards the fiddle yard in the photo below.

 

 

Finally, the photo below shows Thame at its very last public exhibition in 1988.
